PERSONAL PROFILE
I am an Industrial Designer based in Singapore. After graduating from Lasalle College of the Arts in 2012, I ventured into the toy industry to explore a colorful but lesser known field of design. I am a fan of exploration as I find that to be the best way to learn and acquire knowledge.

I believe design has the power to change lives, and I want to use it to make a difference in this world.
PROFESSIONAL OUTLOOK
I find myself working optimally in open environments as I believe in cross pollination of ideas and knowledge. I am able to process and digest information quickly, which I find helpful during the course of bouncing and developing concepts. I've led small teams in various projects and also managed a few client accounts through the course of my work.

Monsters University Pen Figurines
One of the first projects I handled when I started in the toy industry. The initial learning curve was rather steep, as I had to account for design, budget while handling client relations right off the bat. However, it was also a rewarding challenge as it broke me in quickly to the intricacies of the toy industry and how to better optimize design for manufacture.

INTERESTS
PHOTOGRAPHY
I see photography as a means to record the interesting sights I come across in life. These can range from the grandeur of nature, to a thoughtful act of design in everyday objects. I feel photography helps me appreciate the small things in life, and treasure the really big moments.
COOKING
As much as how photography complements my desire to explore the outside world, cooking provides an outlet to explore inward. Finding out how different ingredients create new sights, smells and tastes as they mingle with one another is extremely rewarding to me. I find food to be a really good way to learn about other cultures, and an even better way to make new friends.
GAMING
Growing up in the 90s and early 00s, gaming formed a big part of my life. I loved exploring the vast worlds created by the artists and trying out different choices just to see the results of my action.
CRAFT
I like creating and customizing things. From toy figures, to cufflinks, to leather notebooks. There is a certain satisfaction from working with physical material that you just dont get when working on a 2D medium.
